Barefoot Books Visual Merchandising

Barefoot Books has created several experience-driven, branded retail centers: a flagship store in Concord, MA, a busy boutique at FAO Schwartz in New York City and the most recent opening of store and café in Oxford, England. Each location surrounds visitors with the full brand offer through creative store design, exciting events and artful product displays.

Custom shelving hold core titles, while table fixtures feature merchandised displays of books with complementary non-book products such as puppets, puzzles, games, music CDs, art supplies and clothing. A richly layered and plentiful visual approach aims to entice visitors, enliven core product with cross-marketing and encourage impulse purchases. Monthly merchandise plans refresh the store offer by highlighting new releases and seasonal themes to engage both repeat and new visitors to the store.
